How To Purchase
Be sure to read and fill out your student contract/agreement and read the refund policy before submitting your order. The course agreement will be shown when you add the course to your shopping cart and begin the check-out process.

Steps To Enroll In The 60hr Course
a. Fill out the student agreement (part of the check-out process).

b. Once your payment for the course is received, the course will immediately be sent to you by Priority Mail. This course is not available for download.

Order Processing
Upon receipt of your order, we will contact you by email to let you know the shipping date of the study material. Should you need the material sooner, an additional fee will apply. Please be sure to give a physical street address and not a P.O. Box, as the USPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box.

Study Method
Once you receive your study material by mail you can begin the course immediately. You can move through the course at your own pace, emailing your instructor when you have questions; 24/7/365. Note: This 2018 course is based on 2017 tax law. Please be aware of the time limits for the course, which are listed under the enrollment/agreement terms. You have three (3) months from the date of purchase to complete the final exam. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an original "Certificate of Completion" by priority mail. 

Term Of Course & Exam Submission
After studying the course material you must mail, fax, or e-mail the final exam to our school See Address. We will grade your test and notify you of the results within 72 hours. In order to pass the exam you must answer at least 70% of the questions correctly.

You have three (3months from the date of purchase to complete the final exam. If and when the student does not complete the course in three months, the student will need to send a written request to our school requesting additional time not to exceed six (6months of total course time.

Completion / Graduation Information
Students must finish the 60 hour Q.E. income tax course and achieve a 70% score or greater on the final test in order to be awarded a "Certificate of Completion." This documents successful completion of the course through A & B Office Income Tax School. Once you have passed the exam you will receive the certificate of completion by priority mail. You will also receive additional information, such as Tax Bond information and instructions on how to complete your registration with CTEC.

Second Opportunity
If you do not pass the exam you will have a second opportunity to do so. You must email or mail a written request in order to re-take the exam. If a student fails the second exam, they will need to buy a new course.

CTEC & Reporting
A & B Office directly reports electronically all student certifications to CTEC within 24 business hours. Once the student successfully completes the course they must contact CTEC and register. A SSN and a valid PTIN are required. Important: please read the guidelines, click here.

Fess And Charges
The student is responsible for the following fees and charges:

a. Registration Fee of $29.00, non-refundable. This fee is already included in the course pricing.

b. $17.95 Shipping/Handling, non-refundable.

c. Tuition cost, at the current “Promotional Price”, as advertised at the moment the course is purchased.

d. Payment due date(s) on partial payment plan orders is 30 days from the original date of purchase. 

 

Refund Policy

The student has a right to a full refund of all charges less the amount of $17.95 for shipping/ handling costs if the student cancels this agreement prior to midnight of the tenth (10) business day after the course was mailed. The return of all material provided to the student (in new condition) is required. In addition, the student may withdraw from a course after instruction has started and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the tuition and other refundable charges if the student has completed 60% or less of the instruction. Refer to the course agreement for a full description of the refund policy. 

 

The 60 Hr Course requires completion of the 60hr Online Agreement before purchasing. The agreement will be provided during the check-out process.

All paid tax return preparers who prepare all or substantially all of a tax return are required by the IRS to use the new registration system to obtain a PTIN. Access to the online application system will be through the Tax Professionals page of IRS.gov. Individuals who currently possess a PTIN will need to reapply under the new system but generally will be reassigned the same number.
