Important Course Information

Be sure to read and fill out your student contract/agreement and read the refund policy before submitting your order. The course agreement will be provided during the check-out process.

How To Enroll
a. Fill out the student agreement (part of the check-out process).

b. Once payment is made, the course will immediately be mailed to you via US. Priority Mail. This is not an online course.

Order Processing
Upon receipt of your order, we will contact you by email with the shipping date of the course study material. Please be sure to provide a physical delivery address (no P.O. Box. delivery).

Study Method
Once you receive your study material by mail you may begin the course immediately. You can move through the course at your own pace,  course instructors are avalaible via email only. Note: This 2020 course is based on 2019 tax law. Please be aware of the time limits for the course, which are listed under the enrollment/agreement terms. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an original "Certificate of Completion" via priority mail. 

Exam Submission
After studying the course material you must mail, fax, or e-mail the final exam to our school. We will grade your test and notify you of the results within 72 hours. In order to pass the exam, you must achieve a score of at least 70%.

You have three (3months from the date of purchase to complete the final exam. If the student does not complete the course in three months, the student will need to send a written request to our school requesting additional time not to exceed six (6months of total course time.

Completion / Certification Information
Students must finish the 60 hour Q.E. course and achieve a 70% score or greater on the final test in order to be awarded a "Certificate of Completion." This documents successful completion of the course with A & B Office Income Tax School. You will also receive additional information, such as Tax Bond information and instructions on how to complete your registration with CTEC.

Test Re-take Opportunity
If you do not pass the exam you will have a second opportunity to do so. You must request an opportunity to re-take the exam a third time. If a student fails the third exam, a test re-take fee will apply ($19.95).

CTEC & Reporting
We directly report all student certifications to CTEC within 24 business hours. Once a student successfully completes the course, they must contact CTEC and register. A S.S.N. and a valid PTIN are required. Important: please read the CTEC guidelines by Clicking Here.  New CTEC background check regulations, part of California Business & Professions Code Section 22251.3, are Found Here. CTEC now asks applicants to be part of a criminal background check to determine eligibility.

Fess And Charges

The student is responsible for the following fees and charges:

a. Registration Fee of $29.00, non-refundable. This fee is already included in the course pricing.

b. $19.95 Shipping/Handling, non-refundable.

c. Tuition costs, at the current “Promotional Price”, as advertised at the moment the course is purchased.


Refund Policy

The student has a right to a full refund of all charges less the amount of $19.95 for shipping/ handling costs if the student cancels this agreement prior to midnight of the tenth (10) business day after the course was mailed. The return of all material provided to the student (in new condition) is required. In addition, the student may withdraw from a course after instruction has started and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the tuition, less non-refundable charges, if the student has completed (30days or less of instruction. Refer to the course agreement for a full description of the refund policy. 


The 60Hr Course requires completion of the 60hr Online Agreement before purchase. The agreement will be provided during the check-out process.

All paid tax return preparers who prepare all or substantially all of a tax return are required by the IRS to use the new registration system to obtain a PTIN. Access to the online application system will be through the Tax Professionals page of Individuals who currently possess a PTIN will need to reapply under the new system but generally will be reassigned the same number.
